Willis “Gene” Mullins, 72, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Bethesda Care Center. He was born June 11, 1942 in Blair, WV the son of Rilen and Lottie (Gardner) Mullins.
Gene served in the U.S. Army from October 11, 1960 to October 11, 1962 as a Field Commo Crewman and received a Marksman badges for Rifle and Carbine. He married Rebecca J. Norton on May 8, 1962 in Wellston, OH and she survives.
Gene was a Truck Driver at Chemitrol for thirteen years. He was a former member of the Moose and Eagles. Gene enjoyed driving truck, watching the Dallas Cowboys and westerns, especially John Wayne films.
Gene is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Rebecca J. Mullins; daughter, Stephanie Mullins both of Fremont, OH; siblings, Geraldine (Willis) Norton, Radcliff, OH, Floyd (Mildred) Perdue, Sterling, VA, Carmel (Toni) Perdue, Man, WV; special friends, Marc and Cris Zaragoza.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
