Willie Clay Joseph

Willie Clay Joseph, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Valley View Health Campus.  He was born on September 24, 1940, in Letcher, KY, the son of William “Willie” and Alta May (Spencer) Joseph.  Willie worked at Sandco Industries for many years and participated in the Sandco Olympics.  He loved Civil War history-especially books and movies. Willie enjoyed Coca Cola, ice cream, being outside, going to Hooter’s and spending time with others and special friends, Billy and Jude.  Willie brought great joy to those around him, and he will be dearly missed.

Willie is preceded by his parents and siblings, Linda, Henry and Betty.

A special “Thank You” to all of Willie’s caregivers, Debbie Eiseman, Austie Wright, the Staff at Valley View, The Sandusky County Board of DD, ProMedica Hospice and Bronlyn Black.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.  Services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant, Susann Robitski Zimmerman officiating.

Memorials can be made in Willie’s honor to the Sandusky County Board of DD or the Trilogy Foundation.
