William “Bill” E. Hill

William “Bill” E. Hill, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away at home with his wife by his side on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.  He was born September 10, 1938 in Seneca County to Walter M. and Rual E. (Arbogast) Hill.  He was a 1958 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.  Bill married Marlene M. Brainerd on June 4, 1977 in Adrian, MI.  He worked in security at SICPA for twenty years and retired in 2006.  Bill was a musician and played piano throughout the country including the White House.  He is a member of Victory Church where he played the piano for many years.

Bill is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Marlene M. Hill, Fremont, OH; nephews, Gary (Celinda) Scherger and Larry Scherger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia A. Scherger.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Services will follow at Noon at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at McGormley Cemetery, Fremont, OH.

Memorials can be made to ProMedica Heartland Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
