Wendy L. Wehring, 39, of Fremont, OH passed away on March 5, 2021 in Fremont, OH surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 28, 1981 in Fremont the daughter of Michael J. Wehring and Claudia F. (Stine) Ruffing. Wendy was a 1999 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School.
Wendy was a nurse’s aide at Elmwood Assisted Living and most currently at Valleyview Healthcare Center. She loved to spend time with her family and was always the life of the party. She was a dedicated worker and had compassion for everyone she met. Wendy enjoyed swimming, listening to music and attending her nieces and nephews events.
Wendy is survived by her father, Michael Wehring, Fremont, OH; mother, Claudia (Ron) Ruffing, Monroeville, OH; siblings, Mike (Kim) Riehl, Clyde, Amy (Ron) Meyer and Josh (Sara) Wehring, both of Fremont; special cousin, Heather (David) McDonald; aunts and uncles, Sandy Wehring, Janet Bailey, Claude Stine, Ed Raubenolt, Linda Stine, Amy Stine, Kae Haar, Louann (Steve) Loomis and Wendy Stine; nieces and nephews, Adrienne, Mara, Isaac, Tyler, Alyssa, Amber, Brandon, Caitlyn, Reid, Logan and Matthew, significant other, Nick Hasselbach and many loving cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Rosanna Wehring, Claude and Dora Fae Stine; uncles, Fred and Tom Wehring, Jim, Garry, Guy Stine and aunt, Sharon Raubenolt.
Visitation: Friday, March 12, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
The use of face masks is required while indoors and social distancing will be observed throughout all services with wait times taking place outdoors.
