Wenceslao “Vince” A. Longoria, formerly of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Brownsville, TX. He was born on June 5, 1941 in Los Indios, TX to Fernadno and Paula (Arreola) Longoria. Vince went on to serve in the US Army from 1963 to 1974 and was awarded National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge and the Good Conduct Medal Clasp.
Wenceslao married Carol Ann Viock on July 3, 1984 in Houston, TX and she preceded him on August 5, 2009.
Vince is survived by his children, Christopher Longoria, Woodbridge, VA, Cathy (Don) Belkofer, Bowling Green, OH, Albert (Luann) Longoria and John (Raquel) Longoria, both of Fremont, OH; David Allen (Katie) Longoria, Iowa City, IA, Rose Marie Stearns, Iowa City, IA; brother, Fernadno (Rosa) Longoria, Fremont, OH; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Margaret Longoria; second wife, Carol Longoria; siblings, Sally “Celia” Delgado and Reyes Longoria.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. at McGromley Cemetery, Fremont, OH with Military Honors provided by the American Legion and VFW.
There will be a Celebration of Life following the graveside service at the UAW Hall, 209 N Stone St, Fremont, OH from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Vince’s honor to Donor’s Choice.
