Vitalia “Vicky” E. Fought

Vitalia “Vicky” E. Fought, 92, of Fremont, OH passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at her home.  She was born on November 19, 1931 in San Antonio, TX to Crispen and Ines (Silva) Rendon. Vicky was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School and then went on to receive her associated degree from Heidelburg College.

Vicky married Keith I. Fought in 1960 and he preceded on September 18, 2015.  She worked for Community Health Services as a translator, the Sandusky County Unemployment Office and in Home Health Services for Developmentally Disabled.  Vicky was a member of Family Worship Center where she became an Ordained Minster on November 30, 2008.  She enjoyed watching Christian programs, especially Highway to Heaven and praying for others.  Vicky loved the Lord and sharing the Gospel.  She was kind, loving and generous to all.  

Vicky is survived by her children, Kenneth (Peggy) Hill, Gibsonburg, OH, Linda (Dan) Kreilick, Helena, OH, Michael (Chris) Hill, Fremont, OH, Larry Fought, Fremont, OH, Cheryl (Doug) Eckert, Bellevue, OH, Dianne (Louis) Duskin, Fremont, OH; son-in-law, Paul Riehm, Tiffin, OH; siblings, Roy Rendon, of Texas, Joe (Lupe) Rendon, of Colorado, Ruben (Judy) Rendon, Fremont, OH, Raymond (Marylou) Rendon, Fremont, OH; best friend, Minnie Masters, Fremont, OH; thirty-four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.

She is preceded death by his parents; husband; daughter, Lorri Riehm; son, Keith V. Fought; siblings, Paul Rendon, Virginia Slasinski, Viola Munoz and grandson, Chad Wagner.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024; 12:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
