Viola Dina Munoz

Viola Dina Munoz, 83, of Fremont, OH went to be with our Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born on November 29, 1933 in Fredericksburg, TX, the daughter of Crispin and Inez (Sylva) Rendon. She was a 1952 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Fremont.

Viola married Tony Munoz on April 30, 1953 at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX and he survives. She enjoyed working at ECI where she retired in 2003. She was also a homemaker and was very involved in the community through various jobs and organizations. Viola enjoyed gardening, going to flea markets and garage sales and spending time with her 10 children and many grandchildren.

Viola is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tony Munoz, Fremont, OH; children, Robin (Jason) Durnwald, Sande (Paul) Gottron, Virginia Hill, Tony Munoz Jr., Gilbert Munoz, Tim Munoz, Tommie (Tom) Chesser, Todd Munoz, Paul (Emily) Munoz, Dina (Eric) Potridge; siblings, Vicki Fought, Roy, Joe (Lupe), Ruben (Judy), Raymond (Marylou) and Paul (Lucy) Rendon; 47 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Todd Joseph Munoz Jr.; sister, Virginia Slasinski.

The family will greet friends on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH a later date.
