Vincent Dell Fisher, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 12, 2018 at Windsor Lane Health Care Facility in Gibsonburg. He was born on November 10, 1937 in Fremont, OH the son of Dolor “Dell” and Alma (House) Fisher.
Vincent married Mari (Kaemming) on July 6, 1963 and was married for eleven years. He worked at Atlas, Century Tool and Dye, Borg Warner and later worked for Eaton Control until he retired. Vincent was a handy-man and was very proud to be able to build his own home. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved tinkering in his yard and going to the sprint car races, from being a spectator, to owning his own cars and helping others work on their cars. Vincent was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016 at Fremont Speedway and was well-known by many racing fans.
Vincent is survived by his children, Tim Fisher, Fremont, Steve (Tammy) Fisher, Helena and Dan (Ivy) Fisher, Fremont; his siblings, Sylvan (Cherell) Fisher, Elaine (Brent) Mackey both of Fremont and Elizabeth Key, Parma, OH, his grandchildren Cody Fisher and Stephanie (Matt) Hershey, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Michael Fisher and William Fisher, and niece, Nicole Fisher.
The family would also like to express their gratitude for the staff of Rutherford House and Windsor Lane Health Care Facility for their care of Vincent.
Visitation: Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Saturday, December 15, 2018; 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH
