Victoria “Torie” Leigh Sabo

Victoria “Torie” Leigh Sabo, 61, of Fremont, OH passed away on September 18, 2020 at her home.  She was born on April 23, 1959 in Sandusky, OH to Susan E. (Walters) Bowman.  Torie was a 1977 graduate of Ross High School and Vangaurd Technical Center.

Torie married Mark Sabo on August 1, 1980 at Grace Lutheran Church and he survives.  She had worked at the Depot, Universal Industries, and Quik Cut until she had to retire.  Torie enjoyed reading and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Torie is survived by her husband of forty years, Mark Sabo, Fremont; daughters, Amy Lindenberger, Fremont and Jenni (Shaun) Bush, Green Springs; grandchildren, Alexis (Ibrahim) Mohammed, Noah Lindenberger, Logan, Lilly, Laylan and Adrianna Bush; siblings, Bill Mesnard, Green Springs, Mindy (Matt Retter) Wyss and Ricki (Adam) Leutenegger both of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Susan and Charles Bowman; sister, Barbie Weichman and sister-in-law, Barb Mesnard.

Visitation: Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

The use of face masks is required while indoors at all services. Social distancing will be observed throughout all services with wait times taking place outdoors. Private services will take place for the family.
