Vicky L. Woomer

Vicky L. Woomer, 80, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 26, 1944 to Vernon and Elizabeth “Betty” (Cress) Anton in Clyde, OH. She was a 1962 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Vicky married Dave Woomer and he preceded her in death. She worked for Schiets Motorsports for almost 20 years. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and organizing events for the class of 1962. 

She is survived by her children, Guy (Julia) Derhammer of Arizona and Jeff Derhammer of Tennessee; siblings Kevin (Stacey) Wolfe, Brian (Jody) Wolfe, Barry Wolfe, all of Arizona and Kris (Lyle) Hoffman of Fremont, OH, two grandsons, one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Visitation will take place Saturday March 9, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420.
