Vanana Mae Zepernick

Vanana Mae Zepernick, 85, of Clyde, OH passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 10, 2023.  She was born on September 16, 1937 in Sugar Run, PA to Woody and Francis (Tuttle) Brown. Vanana married Kenneth Elmer Zepernick on July 11, 1957 and he preceded her on March 21, 2021.  She was a registered nurse at Fremont Memorial Hospital and retired after many years of service.  Vanana attended Journey Church and enjoyed golfing, walking and cross stitching.

Vanana is survived by her sons, Kenneth Zepernick Jr, Clyde, OH and Kevin Zepernick, Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Kari (Chris) Goble, Benjamin Zepernick, Ashley (Nick) Wooldridge; great grandchildren, Alex Goble and Adaline Wooldridge; sisters-in-law, Nancy Brown, Linda Brown, Beth Butzin and Ruth Audritsh.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karen Zepernick; son, Keith Zepernick; daughter-in-law, Kim Zepernick; siblings, Ron Brown, Jerry Brown and Betsy Brown.

Vanana’s wishes were to have no services.

Burial will take place at Green Springs Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in Vanana’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
