Thomas Obregon, Jr.

Thomas Obregon, Jr., 63, of Fremont, OH passed away on June 11, 2023.  He was born on June 14, 1959 in Fremont, OH the son of Tomas and Petra (Melchor) Obregon, Sr.  He was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Tom married Felicia Lopez on January 24, 1981 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Fremont, OH.  Tom owned and operated El Aguila Bakery in Fremont, which his family has owned for the past fifty years.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Tom’s greatest joy was playing with and teasing his grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing and was a collector of many things including, coins, Godzilla items and eagles.  He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Tom is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Felicia Obregon; children, Tomas (Amanda) Obregon, III and Anna (Alejandro) Galvan, all of Fremont, OH; sisters, Juanita Patton, Maumee, Cruz Rodriguez, Fremont, Petra “Pat” Hernandez, Gibsonburg and Terri Obregon, Lorain, OH; grandchildren, Alejandro Galvan, Jr, Tomas Obregon, IV, Tristan Obregon, Lorena Galvan, Isabella Obregon and Gianna Galvan.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Lopez.

Visitation:  Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2023; 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
