Thomas A. Lochotzki, 68 of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 18, 1944 in Fremont, OH to Albert A. and Ida Rose (Gschwind) Lochotzki. Tom was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School.
Tom married Natalie (Decker) on September 7, 1963 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and she survives. He worked for Whirlpool Corporation for forty-two years until he retired in 2003.
Tom was a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge. He was a collector of Antiques and an avid wine maker.
Tom is survived by his wife, Natalie Lochotzki, Fremont; children, Monica Lochotzki, Melanie (Michael) Hoelzer, Matthew (Tonya) Lochotzki and Mitchell Lochotzki all of Fremont; sisters, Sally (Dick) Freeborn, Gibsonburg, Kathleen (Jim) Ayres, Fremont, Hilda (Dale) McKinney of Kentucky and Loretta (Richard) Riddles of New Jersey; grandchildren, Elyse (Chris) Bias of North Carolina, Nick Wurm, Fremont, Derik Lochotzki of North Carolina, Riki Ann Wurm, Brandon Hoelzer, Heather Lochotzki and Amanda Hoelzer all of Fremont; great granddaughter, Charliegh Rose Bias.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jill Giacalone and an infant daughter, Marie Rose Lochotzki.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH
Service: Wednesday, January 9, 2013; 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Michael Zacharias officiating.
