Theron “Charlie” C. Kroeger, Jr., 87, of Fremont, OH passed away on April 5, 2024 in Toledo, OH. Charlie was born on January 13, 1937 to Theron C. and Roberta L. (Dunn) Kroeger, Sr in Fremont, OH. He was a 1955 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Charlie served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962 and received the Marksman Badge .45 caliber pistol and Sharpshooter Badge Carbine.
Charlie was a machine operator for Whirlpool for thirty-one years and he retired in 2001. He was a member of Journey Church. He enjoyed collecting license plates, gardening and loved animals. Charlie also loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Charlie is survived by his children, Matthew (Dee) Kroeger, Parrish, FL, Mark Kroeger, Sandusky, OH, Ted (Vanessa) Kroeger, Bellevue, OH, Rene Kroeger, Sharon Kroeger both of Oklahoma, Honna (Randolpho) St. John of Granby, CT and twenty-one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Kroeger.
Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH. Military honors will be provided by the Clyde V. F. W.
