Thelma J. Cogar, 82, of Everett Rd, Fremont passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1930 in Tiffin, OH to Fred and Mabel (Hoffman) Woessner.
Thelma married Ralph Cogar on March 27, 1948 in Covington, KY and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2008. She was an I.M.O. Operator at Woodel’s and retired in 1989 after many years of service.
Thelma was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her family and enjoyed bowling, eating at Denny’s, watching soap operas and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Thelma is survived by her children, Nancy (Dallas) Patrick, Tiffin, OH, Shirley (Lupe) Moreno, Randy (Jeanie) Cogar and Allison (Lonnie) Fields, all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Bertha Feasel, Tiffin, OH; nineteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Cogar; children, Elaine Bailey, Janet Fisher and Michael Cogar ; brothers, Louis W., Robert W., and Jack W. Woessner; sisters, Ethel Campbell, Alice Smith and Eva Fox.
