Sue Seils

Sue Seils, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 11, 2024 at Valley View Health Campus in Fremont, OH.  She was born on January 1, 1935 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Will and Fern (Karr) Wetzel.  Sue married Robert Seils on April 21, 1951 in Fremont, OH and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2019. 

Sue worked as a cashier and in the office at Foodtown for many years until she retired in 1995.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.  Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to attend her grandchildren’s events.  She was an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and Fremont Ross sports fan.  Sue and Bob were longtime season ticket holders to Fremont Ross football.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Rick) Myers, Fremont; grandchildren, Brent (Jennie) Myers, Garrett, IN, Chad Myers and Moe (Belinda Harrison) Myers, both of Fremont; great-grandchildren, Blake and Cayden Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Seils; siblings, Beulah Wolf, Bill Wetzel, Betty Schneider, Fern Will, Bonnie Mezinger, Delene Beckley, Delores Beckley and Jack Wetzel.

Visitation: Friday, January 19, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 20, 2024; 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 212 N Clover St., Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.

Burial: Four Mile House Cemetery
