Sue A. Snyder

Sue A. Snyder, 73, of Fremont, OH passed away on June 5, 2023 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.  She was born on September 6, 1949 in Fremont, OH the daughter of George and Betty (Gillow) Nicholas.  She married James Feighner and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2008.  She then married Kenneth Snyder on November 11, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV.  Sue owned and operated Bark Creek Dog Grooming (formerly Fair Grounds Poodle Parlor) for over forty-seven years until she retired in 2021.  Sue loved animals and raised many golden retrievers, ducks and horses.  She enjoyed NASCAR, knitting, crocheting and was a member of the Clyde Nifty Knitters. Sue won many ribbons at the Sandusky County Fair entering her crocheting and ducks.  She loved George Strait music.

Sue is survived by her husband, Kenneth Snyder and brother, John (Deb) Nicholas both of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Lamar Redding.

Sue’s wish was to donate her body to anatomical study and to have no service at this time.

Memorials can be made to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
