Steven D. Rando

Steven D. Rando, 58, of Lindsey, OH passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 25, 2023. He was born on April 8, 1965 to Al and Carol (Kramer) Rando in Shamokin, PA. Steve was a 1983 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and attended Terra State Community College for welding.  Steve married Catherine Miller on April 19, 1984 in Fremont, OH and she survives. He worked in sales for OE Meyer until he retired in 2012. He enjoyed working on the race car and watching his son race. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and camping.

Steve is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Catherine Rando; children, Steven Rando, Lindsey, OH and Ashley Rando, Clyde, OH; siblings, Mike (Betty) Rando and Tony (Dawn) Rando both of Clyde, OH and Sherry (Jeff) Potridge, Fremont, OH and grandchildren, Mariah, Jordan, Zain, Maylie, Carson and Weston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Shirley Huether and Al “Butch” Rando.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at his home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Murphy, the staff at North Coast Cancer Center, and the nurses with Ohio Living Hospice.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
