Stephen M. Ollom

Stephen M. Ollom, 78, of Fremont, OH, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.  He was born on April 16, 1944 in Hammansburg, OH to Frank and Margaret (Hoffman) Ollom.  Stephen served in the US Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968 where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ Device, Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal w/ two stars.

Stephen married Vicki Stout on September 19, 1981 and she survives.  He was a plant manager for Hy-Tek Concrete in Clyde, OH and retired after many years of service.  Stephen enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors around his house. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loved spending time with his family.

Stephen is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Vicki Ollom; sons, Matt (Jennifer 2) Ollom, all of Fremont, OH and Mike (Jennifer 1) Ollom, Woodville, OH; grandchildren, Brentton, Gavin, Tesla and Jayda Ollom; great granddaughter, Valerie Ollom; siblings, Jim Ollom, Pat (Charlie) Beers, Ron (Kathy) Ollom and Don Ollom, all of Fremont, OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gene and Gary Ollom.

A celebration of Stephen’s Life will take place at a later date.
