Skylar Mj Burroughs

Skylar M.J. Burroughs, 21, of Bettsville, OH passed away on July 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on August 15, 1999 in Bellevue, OH the son of Tracy J. Burroughs and Cindy (Sears) Shank.   Skylar was a 2018 graduate of Clyde High School where he played saxophone in the marching band and was in the drama club.  He was also a member of DECA and FFA.  Skylar’s two goals in life were to be President of the United States and a Youth Minister.  Skylar loved to make people happy and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was always the best dressed in the room and enjoyed politics and all types of music.  Skylar’s positive attitude will be missed by many.

Skylar is survived by his father, Tracy J. Burroughs, Clyde; mother and stepfather, Cindy A. and Jeff P. Shank, Bettsville; brother, Austin Shank, Bettsville; grandparents, Karen Burroughs, Clyde and Mike (Sharon) Sears, Fremont; aunts and uncles, Jason, Ashlly, Zack and Nickole Sears, Troy and Justin Burroughs and Rob Kramer and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dave Burroughs and Joyce Sears.

Visitation: Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, August 2, 2021; 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Internment will follow at the Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Memorials can be made to the Donor’s Choice.
