Shirley D. Bryan

Shirley D. Bryan, 78, formerly of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Green Springs, OH. She was born November 16, 1935 in Linton, IN, the daughter of Paul Elkins and Thelma (Shonk) Tryon. Shirley was raised by Thelma and Ancil Tyron. She was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School.

Shirley worked as a Bookkeeper at School of Hope for ten years. She had previously worked at A.D.P. and the Anderson Bank Company in Indiana. Shirley was a member of the Family Worship Center in Fremont, where she was involved in the Ministry of Helps. She enjoyed volunteering at church and spending time with her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Analise (Dean) Walker, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Shauna Walker, Knoxville, TN and Shay Walker, Fremont; siblings, Adrienne “Sue” (Bill) Lynn, Dugger, IN, Jean Ann (Terry) Burgess, Switz City, IN; nieces and nephews, Lana Freeman, Lori Hunt, Levi Lynn, Tony Burgess and Matt Burgess; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Ancil Tryon

Fremont Visitation: Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Family Worship Center, 120 East State St, Fremont, OH.

Fremont Service: Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at the church with Bishop Gary Clowers officiating.

Linton, IN Visitation and Service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, Noon to 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Hwy 59 North, Linton, IN, with a service starting at 1:30 p.m.

Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Linton, IN.
