Sandra L. Wehring

Sandra L. (Everly) Wehring, 75, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 9, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 29, 1949 in Fremont, OH the daughter of James and Rita (Ickes) Everly. Sandy was a 1967 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She married Frederick A. Wehring on July 13, 1968 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2018.

Sandy worked as child care provider for many children in her home for over forty years until she retired. Sandy was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed Bible study at St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed traveling to Amish country with her family and friends. She was an avid University of Michigan Fan and enjoyed visiting the stadium. Sandy’s true love of her life was her husband, Fred and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her nightly drives around town to go by all of her kid’s houses with her husband.

Sandy is survived by her children, Melissa Flahiff, Jonathan (Michelle) Wehring, Tiffany (Jerame Rogers) Wehring and Heather (David) McDonald all of Fremont; cousin, Jenny Rose Binder; grandchildren, Jason Wehring, Alex Sipsma, Tyler (Ashley) Wehring, Moe (Fiancée Paige Esker) Wehring, Logan Rogers, Alyssa Garcia, Abby Rogers, Stephanie and Ashley Flahiff; great-grandchildren, Nash Sipsma, Emma Wehring and Myla Liggins; bonus grandchildren, Cali, Raiden, Ryder, Jayelle and Jadyn; brother-in-law, Michael Wehring; sisters-in-law, Janet Bailey and Edmond Raubenolt; many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Fred Wehring.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH. 

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
