Sandra Jean Whitcomb

Sandra Jean Whitcomb, 47, of Port Clinton, OH passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. She was born October 16, 1966 in Fremont, OH, the adopted daughter of Eugene T. and Shirley (Metzger) Potridge.

Sandra married Matthew E. Whitcomb on November 17, 1990 in Fremont and he survives. She worked for Easter Seals for many years. Sandra enjoyed cooking and helping others.

Sandra is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Matthew E. Whitcomb, Port Clinton, OH; daughter, Kassandra Swint of Georgia and son-in-law, Chad Swint of Wisconsin; siblings, Eugene R. Potridge, Gibsonburg, OH, Terry Potridge, Jeff (Sherry) Potridge both of Fremont, OH, Kevin Potridge of West Virginia, Eric Potridge, Fostoria, OH; her dogs, Chloe, Kocomo, cat, Willow and several grand puppies.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene T. Potridge; son, Todd Joseph “T.J.” Morrissey; grandparents, Helen and Edwin Metzger.
