Ruth A. Naugle

Ruth A. Naugle, 96, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. She was born on May 17, 1920 in Fremont, the daughter of Max and Haidee (Rearick) Thrun.

Ruth married Kenneth V. Naugle on August 24, 1940 in Kentucky and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1996. She was a Homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking, puzzles and traveling.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Janet (Bob) Schneider and Judy Naugle; granddaughter, Tracee Schneider-Beier and great granddaughter, Destinee (Ross) Freeman all of Fremont, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth V. Naugle; son Dennis L. Naugle; siblings, Norman, Robert, Wilmer “Bill” and Evelyn Thrun.

Visitation: Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Service: Thursday, April 27, 2017; 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Young officiating.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont
