Roseann Forsythe

Roseann “Penny” Forsythe, 79, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont. Penny was born on August 23, 1944 to Milton and Rose (Zak) McKinney in Fremont. Penny married Patrick Lynn Forsythe on November 22, 1979 in Fremont and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2009. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Penny was a barber where she owned and operated Village Barbers and Tanning Salon in Fremont for over forty years with her late husband Patrick Forsythe. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and gardening when she could.

Penny is survived by her children Wendi Jay, Lamar “Doc” (Bridget) Wolf, Jason (Nichole) Wolf all of Fremont; grandchildren, Brady (Molly) Wolf , Darby Harger, Simone (Cody) Wolf, Scout Wolf; great grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, and Ryder; sister-in-law, Judy McKinney.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Patrick Forsythe; sisters, Linda Atkins, Janet Weasner, Rosemary Wolfe; brothers, Bill McKinney, Bud McKinney and Robert Zak, infant daughter, Terry Lynn Wolf.

It was Penny’s Wishes to have no services at this time.
