Ronald R. Miller

Ronald R. Miller, 79, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.  He was born on September 1, 1944 in Fremont, OH to Burdett and Rosalyn (Batesole) Miller. Ron was a 1962 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Ron married Mona L. Clark on January 14, 1967 at Sacred Heart Church.  He worked as a Tool & Die Maker at various companies and retired after many years of service.  Ron was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and formerly the 4-H Club.  He enjoyed caring for his lawn, fishing, camping, working on puzzles, bowling where he played in many tournaments, antiquing for glassware and various other items, traveling throughout the U.S., going on cruises, and taking trips to casinos. Ron also enjoyed his 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Muscle Car. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR. Ron’s greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.  

Ron is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Mona Miller; daughters, Kimberly Miller, Columbus, OH, Christina (Matt) Pollock, Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Jacob Pollock, Lauren Pollock, Kate Pollock, Jocelyn Miller; siblings, David (Randa) Miller, Clyde, OH, Cathy (David) Williamson, Fremont, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald (Linda) Clark, The Villages, FL and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Judy (John) Vroman and niece, Regina Miller.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at the church beginning at 11:30 am.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
