Ronald E. Cook, 75, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Parkview Care Center in Fremont, OH. He was born on July 13, 1937 in Fremont, the son of Herbert and Helen (Shaffer) Cook.
Ronald served in the U.S. Navy. He married Ruth A. Kuhns on April 3, 1962 in Michigan and she survives. He was a Construction Worker for Mosser Construction and for Graffice & Sons Construction. Ronald also worked at Kelsey Hayes. He retired in 1992.
Ronald loved to fix things. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, cooking, dancing, reading and westerns. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Cook, Fremont, OH; children, Faith McCleary, Grand Rapids, MI, Rhonda (Marty) Sandison of Wisconsin, Sheri Adrion of Florida, Shelie (Gary) Suto, Woodville, OH, Christopher (Amy) Cook, Denver, CO, Robert (Elizabeth) Lonsway, Fremont, OH; sisters, Judith (Patrick) Shanahan, Fremont, OH, Faye Miller, Port Clinton, OH; grandchildren, Amber McCleary, Brittney Pasakowski, Jenny, Emily and Steven Scholten, Candy Osmon, Ashley Esker, Kayhley Ottney, Darien Suto, Joseph and Benjamin Cook; great grandchildren, Ayden Osmon, Jesse Lopez, Bentley Osmon, Natalie and Olivia Pasakowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Harold Schwartz; daughter Dawn Marie Cook; brothers, Frank, Herbert and Kenneth Cook.
Visitation: Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH
Service: Saturday, April 6, 2013; 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with President Phillip Wylkan officiating.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH
