Ronald “Duke” D. Caster, Jr.

Ronald “Duke” D. Caster, Jr., 59, of Green Springs, OH passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.  He was born August 23, 1962 in Fort Knox, KY to Ronald Dale and Magalene (Meade) Caster.  He was a 1980 graduate of Clyde High School and Vanguard.  Duke was currently working as a machine operator at Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, OH for forty years.  He was a member of the Clyde Eagles and enjoyed racing cars and spending time with his family.

Duke is survived by his long-time companion, Lisa Jackson, Green Springs, OH; daughters, Jill (Louis) Jennings, Cleveland, OH and Jenna Caster (Aubree Moon), Toledo, OH; step-daughters, Kimberleigh (Alexander) Estrada, Fremont, OH, Kelli (Jason) Halbisen, Clyde, OH and Kaitlyn Jackson, Green Springs, OH; father, Ronald Dale Caster, Green Springs, OH; siblings, Angela (Pete) Hillman, Clyde, OH, Tina (Bill) Keller, Delaware, OH, Shawn (Sheila) Caster, Clyde, OH, Robert (Kathleen) Caster, Green Springs, OH; grandson, Duke Jennings; step-grandchildren, Elijah Sanchez, Kennedi Jackson, Camilla Sanchez, Maykala and Makenzie Halbisen, Alaric Estrada and Harper Halbisen and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Magalene Caster; son, Josh Caster; grandparents, Maxine and Dale Caster, Lawrence and Nineveth Meade.

Visitation:  Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 211 North Broadway St, Green Springs, OH.

Services:  Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Tyree officiating.

Burial:  Butternut Ridge Cemetery
