Robert L. Williamson
Robert L. Williamson, 86, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Bethesda Care Center. He was born September 5, 1927 in Fremont to Harold U. and Hazel F. (Mathews) Williamson.
Robert married Barbara J. Deppen on June 19, 1949 at First United Church of Christ in Fremont and she survives. He worked at Crown Rubber for nine years, Herbrand for nine years, Wilson Cabinet Company for twenty years and Williamson Cabinet Shop until he retired. Robert was a member of First United Church of Christ, the Odd Fellows and was a former Assistant Scout Master. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, working in his yard and spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Barbara J. Williamson, Fremont, OH; children, Ronald L. Williamson, David W. (Cathy) Williamson both of Fremont, OH, Jeffrey L. Williamson of Iowa, Christie A. (Michael) Wolf, Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Jackie Bieber, Jamie Williamson, Elizabeth Stern and Jason Wolf; great grandchildren, Isabel, Hawkeye and Galaxy Bieber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert S. Williamson; brother, Jack U. Williamson and an infant brother and sister.
Visitation: Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Wednesday, April 16, 2014; 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Elaine Bast officiating.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH
