Robert L. Stull, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Bethesda Care Center. He was born on May 12, 1929 in Napoleon, OH, the son of Lloyd A. and Gladys M. (Motter) Stull. He was a 1947 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Army Occupation Medal (Japan), Korean Service Medal w/3 Bronze Camp Stars, United Nations Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
Robert married Thelma L. (Snyder) Mason on May 9, 1959 in Fremont and she survives. He worked at Ludlow Composites for over thirty-six years where he was a Group Leader for the last five years and retired in 1995. After retirement he worked as a Security Guard at the Hayes Presidential Center. He enjoyed golf, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and watching sports, especially football.
Robert is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Thelma L. Stull, Fremont, OH; sons, Robert A. (Brenda) Stull, Kansas, OH and Steve A. Stull, Fremont, OH; siblings, Frank Steward, John A. (Beverly) Stull, James L. (Shirley) Stull, all of Fremont, OH; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clifford Stull; three stillborn children; sisters, Elizabeth Skeens, Helen M. Bergman, Mary L. Whitman and JoAnn Stull; brothers, Richard, Donald and Charles Stull.
Visitation: Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH
Graveside Service: Monday, April 27, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at McGormley Cemetery, McGormley Rd, Fremont with Military Honors provided by the American Legion and the VFW.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hayes Presidential Center or the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
