Robert L. Boonie, Sr.

Robert L. Boonie, Sr., 59, of Fremont, OH passed away on July 10, 2018 at Astoria Place of Clyde. He was born on February 1, 1959 in Fremont, OH the son of Marlin and Betty (Hoffman) Boonie. He was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Bob owned R.L. Boonie Plumbing and Heating until his accident no longer allowed him to work. He enjoyed racing, driving, boating and working on motors. Bob also loved to spend time outdoors.

Bob is survived by his children, Jamie Miller, Fremont, OH and Robert L. Boonie, Jr., Marblehead, OH; siblings, Steven (Mo) Boonie, Richard Boonie and Daniel (Jackie) Boonie, all of Fremont, OH, David (Lisa) Boonie and Dwyane (Carrie) Boonie, both of Clyde, OH; granddaughters, Mariah Boonie and Pyper Floriana.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sharon Edwards and Janet Tea.

A celebration of life gathering will take place on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Private Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH
