Ricky A. Heidelburg

Ricky A. Heidelburg, 59 of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.  He was born on March 1, 1964 in Fremont, OH to Robert and Cora (Lindsey) Heidelburg.  Ricky was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School and went on to receive his associate degree in criminal justice.  Ricky worked for ABC Inoac for many years.  He was a member of Greater St. James Church where he played the drums in the choir.  Ricky enjoyed playing along with teaching the drums, playing the guitar, singing, grilling out, baking, playing cards and board games, track, wrestling, landscaping, helping anyone in need and spending time with his family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Cora Heidelburg; daughter, Dominique Heidelburg-Weisz; siblings, Ruth Chapman, Arlie (Timothy) Tate, Gerlene (Todd) Chance, Steve (Lynn) Heidelburg, Jessie (Debra) Heidelburg, Donna (Dudley) Graham, Lorean Richey, Florean (John) Weisz, Judy Gamble, half siblings, Emmanuel (Stephanie) Heidelburg, Joyce (Louis) Burnett, Crystal (Robert) Smith; step siblings, Sheronda (Carrise) Woods and Curtis Lee, along with a host of nieces and nephews and his dog, Max.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Heidelburg and brother, Robert Heidelburg, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023 beginning at Noon at Great St. James Church, 629 Sixth St. Fremont, OH 43420.
