Richard L. Stoner
Richard L. Stoner, 79, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his home. He was born on May 15, 1937 in Clyde, OH to Ralph and Florence May (Beatty) Stoner.
Richard served in the US National Guards from 1954-1956 and then in the US Army from 1956-1959. He married Alice I. Higley on March 12, 1966 in Fremont, OH and she survives.
Richard worked for Carbo Tool & Die Company retiring in 1996.
Richard is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Alice I. Stoner; sons, Anthony Stoner, Michael Stoner, all of Fremont, OH; sister, Patricia Ann Booze, Henderson, TN; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Mesnard and Ruth Mesnard.
Visitation: Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant, Susann Robitski Zimmerman officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
