Richard “Dick” LaMar Dunfee

Richard “Dick” LaMar Dunfee, 84, of Clyde, OH passed away December 20, 2023 at Bellevue Care Center.  He was born July 9, 1939 to Ray C. and Maggie (Hedges) Dunfee in Fremont OH.  Dick married Linda Lou (Turner) Koppus on July 6, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV.

Dick was employed by Ford Motors in Sandusky as an Injection Mold Machine Operator and retired in 1994 after over 30 years.  Dick was a life member of the Fremont VFW #2947 and a member of the Clyde Eagles #2291.  He enjoyed country music, bowling, woodworking, playing cards and working in his yard.  Dick loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

Dick is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years Linda Lou Dunfee, Clyde, OH; stepchildren: Shelley (Brent) Krumnow and Christopher Koch, both of Fremont; step grandchildren, Abby, Zach and Nick Krumnow and his fur baby, Minnie.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Gaberta Smith, Marie Walsh, Marjorie Ross, Leonna Stout, Martha Noftz, Earl Dunfee, and infant sister, Carol Ann Dunfee and an infant brother that passed at birth.

Private services were held.

Memorials in Dick’s honor can be made to Clyde United Methodist Church, Bellevue Care Center, Bellevue Assisted Living, Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH, Clyde or Fremont Eagles.
