Raymond B. Ramey

Raymond B. Ramey, 79, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, OH. He was born August 7, 1934 in Mouthcard, Ky to Oliver and Grace (Childress) Ramey.

Raymond married Phyllis R. Adkins on January 24, 1976 in Fremont and she survives. He was a Quality Technician at Ford Motor Company in Sandusky for over forty-nine years and retired in 2005. Raymond attended the Church of The Nazarene and enjoyed fishing and boating.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Phyllis R. Ramey; children, Ray Allen (Beth) Ramey, Paul Gary (Pamela) Ramey, Timothy Kyle Ramey, all of Fremont, OH, step children, James P. (Young) Hay, of Korea, Tena Rose Good, Fostoria, OH, Fanny G. (Phil) Wait, Fremont, OH; sister, Ethel Mae Potter, Pikeville, KY; grandchildren, Tinisha, William, Jr., Jeffrey, Krista, Sunshine, Jimmy, Audriona, Zachary, Crystal, Tracy, Blake, Rayna, Brandon, Sundae, Toe Young and eighteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jerri Widman and Josephine Gibson; grandson, J.R. Jackson.
