Raya Jean Miller

Raya Jean Miller, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Valley View Health Care. She was born on April 30, 1939 in Sycamore, OH to Richard Dunlap and Mary (Heistand) Roll. Jean was a 1947 graduate of Old Fort High School.

Jean married Eugene “Butch” Miller on July 28, 1962 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2020. She was a music teacher at Old Fort School for many years. Jean enjoyed going to the casinos, playing bingo, going shopping and listening to music. 

Jean is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Terry) Brennen, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Kelli (fiancé, Dennis) Brennen, Toledo, OH, Sean Brennen, Columbus, OH and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Helen Dunlap; sisters, Shari Luft and Debbie Schonauer.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024; 2:00 pm at McGormley Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made in Raya’s honor to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
