Olga Marie Vela

Olga Marie Vela, 62, of Fremont, OH passed away on April 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 7, 1958 in McKinney, TX the daughter of Andres and Ester Mata.  She married Noe Vela on October 9, 2009 in Springdale, AR and he survives.  Olga was a cook at the Women’s Hospital in Arkansas.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing, dancing and listening to music.  Olga also loved to spend time with her family where she enjoyed playing lotteria with her grandkids.

Olga is survived by her husband, Noe Vela, Fremont; children, Gilberto (Leslie Mae) Rojas, Bettsville, Julisa Rojas, Florida, Oscar (Veronica) Ramirez, Fremont, Jesus (Jennifer) Ramirez, Green Springs and Rosalinda (Tyler) Tedrick, Jacksonville, NC; siblings, Martin (Lee) Mata, Fremont, Roy Mata, Texas, Sonya Mata, Georgia; stepson, Noe Vela, Springfield, OH; seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Lupe, Andre, Jr., Juan (Maria), Joe, Maria, Odalia and Esmeralda Mata; stepdaughter, Isdra Vela.

Visitation:  Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
