Norma R. Davisson, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1925 in Fremont, the daughter of Carl and Ruth (Voss) Fisher. She was a 1944 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Norma married Edwin R. Davisson on August 23, 1944 in Fremont and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2010.
Norma was a Homemaker and a former member of Grace Brethren Church. She was also a member of the Fremont Eagles. She was an avid bowler, golfer, and artist where she was unofficially known as the Artist of Parkview. Norma loved spending time with her family, which was most important in her life. The only other thing close was her love of animals.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Beverly J. (Richard) Bradford, Marcia L. (Richard) Rahrig, both of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Tammy Zanetti, Tracy Bowser, Jennifer Wendel, Tanya Schardt; eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin R. Davisson; infant daughter, Patricia Davisson and sister, Mary L. Picciuto.
Visitation: Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Wednesday, May 21, 2014, 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
