Norma L. Pence

Norma L. Pence, 97, of Fremont, OH passed away at home on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  She was born on April 19, 1926 in Fremont, OH to Earl and Hattie (Marzke) Long.   Norma was a 1944 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Norma married Richard W. Pence in 1950 at St. John’s Lutheran Church and he preceded her in 1989.  She worked as the Clerk of Court at the Sandusky County Commissioner’s Office for twenty-eight years, retiring in 2003. Norma was a Lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was active with the Alter Guild and the Abigail Circle. 

Norma is survived by her children, Richard E. (Kimberly) Pence, Livonia, MI, Rhonda (Daniel Ottney) Pence, Ryan (Kathy) Pence, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Jessica Pence, Kyle (Chelsea) Pence, Kaitlyn Pence, Megan Pence, Adelaide (Jesse Holey) Pence; great grandchild, Cayden Pence and her cat, Stella.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be private for the family. 

Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
