Norma A. Nickelson

Norma A. Nickelson, 52, of Fremont, OH, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on February 18, 1962 in Fremont OH to Francisco and Berta (Lopez) Arriaga. Norma was a 1980 graduate of Gibsonburg High School and received her Associates Degree in Marketing from Terra Community State College.

Norma was currently working for WSOS in Child Care Development for the last 10 years. She was a member of Family Worship Center, where she was very active. Norma loved spending time with her daughter, Michaela.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Michaela Nicole Nickelson, Fremont, OH; mother Berta Arriaga, Fremont, OH; siblings, Armandina Arriaga, Toledo, OH, Alejandro (Susie) Arriaga, Gibsonburg, OH, Angie (Richard) Wammes, Fremont, OH, Jane Lopez, Genoa, OH, Guillermo “Willie” Arriaga, Lorain, OH, Carmen (Julian) Garza, Floresville, TX, José Arriaga, New York, NY, Diana Arriaga, Fremont, OH and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Arriaga.

Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH

Service: Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Clowers officiating.

Burial: St. Lawrence Cemetery, Gibsonburg, OH
