Norma Jean Miller
Norma Jean Miller, 84, of Fremont, OH died peacefully in her home on January 27, 2013. She was born on April 24, 1928 in Fremont to George F. and Anna (Cress) Karr.
Norma marred her childhood sweetheart, Dean C. Miller on October 6, 1944 in Salem, KY and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1992. She worked at St. Francis Nursing Home in Green Springs, OH for twenty-five years and retired in 1991. Norma enjoyed reading, line dancing, traveling and spending time with her family.
Norma is survived by her six children, Marsha (Jim) Baumer, Spokane, WA, Dean (Carol) Miller, Deltona, FL, Karen (Dennis) Halbisen, Joyce Miller and Jayne (Richard) Bowersox, all of Fremont, OH, John Miller, Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Richard Karr, Clyde, OH, Robert Karr, Fremont, OH; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-eight years, Dean C. Miller; daughter, Sandra K. Miller; siblings, William Karr, Jack Karr, Katherine Dorobek, Shirley Harbottle, Doris Wolfe.
Visitation: Wednesday, January 30, 2013m from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Services and burial are private for the family.
