Nancy K. Deitzel

Nancy K. Deitzel, 72 of Fremont, OH passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1942 in Fremont, OH to Delbert and Alma “Susie” (Bliss) Snyder. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Nancy married Kenneth Wm. Deitzel on October 31, 1964 in Oak Harbor and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2011. She worked many years at Quikut Cutlery until they closed. Nancy then provided in home childcare for the majority of her career. She was a member of St Ann Catholic Church where she sang in the choir on Sunday’s. Nancy enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends at the Senior Center and spending time with her family.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kenneth “Rusty” Deitzel, Jr., Kayle (Rich) Durdel, Kimberly Myers, all of Fremont, OH, Heather (Randal) Arbogast, Alvada, OH, Heidi (Christian) Tooman, Fremont, OH; sister, Delberta James, Port Clinton, OH; grandchildren, Stacie Graham, Collin Gilbert, Kenna, Andrew and Greyson Tooman and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Wm. Deitzel; son, Rod Deitzel; sisters, Leota Smith and Shirley Heabler.

Visitation: Thursday form 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, June 20, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at St Ann Catholic Church, 1021 W. State St, Fremont, OH with Fr. Michael Zacharias officiating.

Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery
