Michael Hessick

Michael Hessick, 69, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. Michael was born on June 13, 1955 to Robert Hessick and Wilma (Miller) Ginnever. Michael married Debra Ann Lance on December 24, 1985 in Fremont at their home and she preceded him in death on July, 16, 2024.

Mike worked as a Laborer for several companies including, Trico, Plate Glass, Auto Zone and Lowes. He enjoyed sprint cars, crafts, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mike was an avid Seatle Seahawks, Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians Fan.

Mike is survived by his children, Corey (Sadie Turpening) Hessick and Toby Hessick both of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Kayla and Kolton Hessick; siblings, Terry (Kay) Hessick, Tom Hessick both of Tennessee; half-sister, Robin (Tony) Good, Bellevue, OH.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Eileen) Hessick and Wilma (Merle) Ginnever; wife, Debra Ann Hessick; brothers, Ronald and Kenny Hessick; parents-in-law, Ray and Wanda Lance.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
