Michael Gary Federico

Michael Gary Federico, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on July 2, 2024. He was born on June 24, 1942 in Columbus, OH the son of Michael P. and Ella Mae (Miller) Federico. Mike married Norma Jean Twigg and she passed away on June 24, 1990.

Mike was a trained machinist and worked at Teledyne in Toledo, OH for many years until he retired. He then worked for Century Tool and Die for five years until he retired from there. Mike enjoyed watching racing and was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. He also enjoyed camping and working in his yard. Mike loved his dogs Vito and Bubba.

Mike is survived by his son, Steve Federico, Fremont; brother, Richard Lee (Kathy) Federico, Sheffield Lake, OH; his girlfriend of twenty years, Shirley Schultz, Fremont; her children, Guy (Susan) Schultz and Lee (Christy) Schultz both of Oregon, OH and their children, Hannah, Emily and Dean Schultz; close friends and neighbors, Al and Marianne Woessner and their daughter, Crystal Woessner and Robert and Chnea Roemelen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Jean Federico; sons, Bill and Tony Federico; brother, Harold Rhodes.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024; 3:00 p.m. at Four Mile House Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
