Michael Alan Albrecht

Michael Alan Albrecht, 66, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Health System in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on October 19, 1955 in Elyria, OH to Harvey and Norma (Hollensworth) Albrecht. Michael served in the U.S. Army from August 7, 1980 to March 8, 1984 and was awarded the Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; Good Conduct Medal; Expert Badge (Rifle and Hand Grenade) and the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 1).

Michael loved fishing, hunting, sports, football, especially the Cleveland Browns and OSU. He enjoyed listening to the Rolling Stones, joking and tinkering around. Michael loved spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his children, Traci Garcia, Toledo, OH, Tristin Hernandez, Fostoria, OH, Bart (Laurie) Spanfellner, Flat Rock, OH; Ty (Kelly) Albrecht and Tim (Kim) Albrecht both of Fremont, OH, T.J. Albrecht, Atlanta, GA, Tory (Riane) Overmyer and Tawni (Ashley) Albrecht both of Fremont, OH; former wife, Rozi Cantu; twenty-seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
