Michael Al Franks

Michael Al Franks, 58, passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of July 18th, 2020. Cancer was just a vehicle that allowed him to get to his heavenly home.

Michael was preceded by his father, Al Franks and sister, Leslie. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Franks, sister, Lisa and brother, Tim; his beautiful wife of twenty-one years, Richel Martin Franks; his loving children, Mike (Kris Brown), Justin (Michelle), Tylor (Dian), Jacob (Briahna George) and Lindsey (Thomas Burtch); thirteen grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his best buddies.

Michael was an avid outdoors man. He loved fishing, hunting and working in his garage. He also loved the races and watching the grandchildren’s sports. Michael certainly had an adventurous life and overcame many trials and tribulations because he was fortified with inner strength and determination. He taught his family the true meaning of love and forgiveness. Michael would gladly have given himself away to bring us all together and that is what he did. We love you Michael Franks. Thank you for being you.

Visitation: Wednesday from 4 – 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
