Mary Baumer

Mary Baumer, 96, of Martinez, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, at Camellia Walk Assisted Living and Memory Care in Evans, Georgia. She was born in Woodville, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Teresa (Speziale) Felle. She was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School. Mary married Leroy M. Baumer on November 28, 1953, at St. Michael's Church in Gibsonburg, Ohio, and they moved to Fremont where they spent the remainder of their marriage. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2008. 

Mary worked at D.G. Trim from many years, until she retired in 1991. She moved full time to Georgia in 2017. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida in the winter and the North Carolina mountains in summer, but most of all she enjoyed being with family. Mary is survived by her daughter, Carol (John) Haff, Martinez, Georgia, many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Baumer; siblings, Tony Felle, Rosie Grove, Charles Felle, Virginia Chiarelli, Millie Hughes, and Lena Geldin.

The family would like to thank the staff at Camellia Walk Memory Care as well as Agape/Georgia Hospice Care for their compassionate care.
