Mario Moreno, 69 of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo, OH. He was born on September 23, 1951 in Toledo, OH to Pablo and Concepción (Perez) Moreno. Mario was a St. Joseph Catholic High School graduate. He married Lela Scott in Port Clinton, OH on March 21, 1987 and she survives. Mario worked as a Sales Associate at Walmart for twenty-five years, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Mario is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Lela Moreno, Fremont, OH; daughters, Jackie Moreno, Fostoria, OH, Jenny Moreno, Fremont, OH; siblings, Mary Cantu and Paul Moreno both of Detroit, MI; grandchildren, Alyssa Scott, Bowling Green, OH, Taneisha Shorty, Fremont, OH, Jacob Powell, Fostoria, OH, Matthew Plemens, Fremont, OH, Jazlyn Scott and Rocquel Scott, both of Wooster, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
It was Mario’s wishes to have no services.
