Marie E. Dumbroff

Marie E. Dumbroff, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away surrounded by her family on April 18, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 30, 1942 to Orville and Hazel (Lippert) Overmyer in Fremont. She was a 1960 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Marie married James Dumbroff on February 24, 1968 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church and he survives. 

Marie’s greatest love was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her smile and contagious laugh is what friends and family remember most. She loved to fish, enjoyed BINGO and going to the casino.

Marie is survived by her husband of fifty-six years James R. Dumbroff; children, Robin (Steve) Roth, Bellevue, OH, Denise (Kevin) O’Brien, Westerville, OH, William Dumbroff, Fremont, OH; brother, Orville (Patricia) Overmyer Jr., Bellevue, OH; grandchildren, Andrew (Roxy) Kovaleski, Corey (Brittney) Kovaleski, Taylor Light, Ashley Light and Calen Kovaleski; great-grandson, Simon Kovaleski.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dorothy Whitt, Judith Mulcahy, Ricky Overmyer.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420. 

Services will take place following visitation at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Memorials can be made in her honor to Dorothy Kern Cancer Center, Fremont, OH.
