Maria J. Castillo

Maria J. Castillo, 77, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. She was born on November 22, 1941 in Mercedes, TX, the daughter of Rafael and Maria (Plasencia) Montiel.

Maria was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, Spanish soap operas and music, cooking and spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by her children, Pablo Castillo of Texas, Amelia Ottney, Theresa Castillo, Katherine Krueger, Michael Castillo, James Castillo and David Castillo, all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Junior and Joe Montiel and Elizabeth Arreguin; grandchildren, Crystal, Brittney, Courtney, Carynn, Joey, Jason, Kaisey, Marcus, Robert Jr., Savannah and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe Castillo and grandson, John Paul Castillo.

There will be no services.
